Abba Father

Who is like the Lord?
Knowing all my faults and flaws,
Yet loving me enough to die for me.
The first stone He would not cast,
His hands of forgiveness
Gentle, reaching, embracing me.

Drink from Him and thirst no more,
Eat from Him and be satisfied.
God will wipe away all your tears,
He will be your strength and comfort.
Believe and trust in Him,
For He is the shepherd of your soul.

Who is like the Lord?
Gentle with the meek,
Hope for the despairing,
Mighty against the proud.
His mercy knows no bounds,
His greatness—who can count?

My Abba, who knows me,
Longs for you to know Him too,
To see His unfailing love,
To taste His amazing grace.
He is your ever-present help in trouble,
From each moment to every day.

In His presence, you will find,
That no evil can draw near or bind.
As His peace abides,
All fears subside.
The Lord’s armies stand beside you;
With Him, there’s nothing to fear.

Dwell in His presence evermore,
He is your refuge and shelter,
A tabernacle, a stronghold sure.
Who can snatch you from His hand?
Who can plot and make a stand?
Find peace and rest, eternally blessed.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

– Psalm 91:1 NKJV
